Cornet/vocalist Bob Schulz presents some rip-roaring Chicago-style jazz. Bob came to fame with the Turk Murphy jazz band, and although he still lives in San Francisco, this CD truly is Chicago style in full fidelity. Bringing back memories of Jack Teagarden, the album features Bob Havens, Tom Fisher, Marty Grosz & Mike Karoub. Pianist Mark Shane gives the listener an idea of what Teddy Wilson or Jess Stacy would sound like if they were still around.
